Vandaag is een mooie dag. De familie Müller gaat naar het strand. Ze hebben een auto vol met spullen. Mama neemt de handdoeken mee. Papa neemt de parasol mee. De kinderen nemen hun speelgoed mee. Ze komen aan bij het strand. De zon schijnt helder. Het water is blauw en helder. Het zand is warm en zacht. Papa zet de parasol op. Mama legt de handdoeken op het zand. 'Mogen we in het water?' vraagt kleine Anna. 'Ja, maar wees voorzichtig!' zegt mama. Anna en haar broer Tom rennen naar het water. Het water is een beetje koud. Maar de kinderen vinden het geweldig! Ze spelen in de golven. Later bouwen ze een zandkasteel. Het zandkasteel is heel groot. Om twaalf uur eten ze broodjes. Mama heeft ook fruit en sap meegebracht. De zon begint onder te gaan. Het is tijd om naar huis te gaan. 'Dit was de beste dag!' zegt Tom met een grote glimlach.
