Tom works in an office. He is always tired. Every night, Tom goes to bed late. He watches TV until midnight. In the morning, Tom wakes up at seven. He only sleeps five hours. At work, Tom cannot concentrate. He drinks a lot of coffee. But the coffee does not help. One day, Tom's friend Lisa visits him. 'You look very tired,' Lisa says. 'I know,' Tom answers. 'I am always tired.' 'When do you go to bed?' Lisa asks. 'Around midnight,' Tom says. 'That is too late!' Lisa says. 'You need eight hours of sleep.' Tom thinks about this. Lisa is right. That night, Tom turns off the TV at ten. He goes to bed early. The next morning, Tom feels different. He has energy. At work, he can concentrate. He does not need so much coffee. Tom continues to go to bed early. Now he sleeps eight hours every night. He is happy and healthy. Tom thanks Lisa for the advice. 'Early to bed makes you feel better,' he says.
