Maria zieht in ein neues Haus. Das Haus ist in einer ruhigen Straße. Sie kennt hier noch niemanden. Am nächsten Morgen hört sie ein Klopfen an der Tür. Sie öffnet die Tür. Eine Frau mit einem großen Lächeln steht da. 'Hallo! Ich bin Sara. Ich wohne nebenan,' sagt die Frau. 'Willkommen in der Nachbarschaft!' 'Danke! Ich bin Maria,' sagt Maria. Sara gibt ihr einen Teller mit Keksen. 'Ich habe diese für dich gemacht,' sagt Sara. 'Das ist so nett! Danke!' sagt Maria. 'Möchtest du auf einen Kaffee reinkommen?' fragt Maria. 'Sehr gerne!' antwortet Sara. Sie sitzen in der Küche und reden. Sara erzählt Maria von der Nachbarschaft. 'Es gibt einen schönen Park in der Nähe,' sagt Sara. 'Und die Bäckerei an der Ecke macht tolles Brot.' 'Das klingt wunderbar,' sagt Maria. 'Hast du Kinder?' fragt Sara. 'Ja, ich habe einen Sohn. Er ist sechs Jahre alt,' sagt Maria. 'Meine Tochter ist sieben! Sie können zusammen spielen,' sagt Sara glücklich. 'Das wäre toll für meinen Sohn,' sagt Maria. Sara bleibt eine Stunde. Sie reden und lachen zusammen. 'Ich muss jetzt gehen,' sagt Sara. 'Aber lass uns bald wieder treffen.' 'Ja, das würde ich gerne,' sagt Maria. Maria ist glücklich. Sie hat eine neue Freundin in ihrer neuen Nachbarschaft.
