1Concessive Connectors (Although, Despite)
Concessive connectors introduce unexpected contrast: chociaż/choć (although), mimo że (despite that), pomimo że (in spite of). They show that the main clause is true despite the subordinate clause: Chociaż pada, idę na spacer (Although it's raining, I'm going for a walk).
