Vandaag is het een zonnige dag. Emma en haar familie gaan naar de dierentuin. Emma is heel opgewonden. Ze kopen kaartjes bij de ingang. Eerst zien ze de olifanten. De olifanten zijn heel groot. Ze hebben lange slurf. Emma maakt een foto. Daarna bezoeken ze de apen. De apen springen van boom naar boom. Ze zijn heel grappig. Emma's broer lacht. Ze lopen naar het leeuwenverblijf. Een grote leeuw slaapt in de zon. 'Kijk naar zijn manen!' zegt Emma. De familie krijgt honger. Ze eten lunch bij het meer. Eenden zwemmen in het water. Na de lunch zien ze de giraffen. Giraffen hebben heel lange nekken. Ze eten bladeren van hoge bomen. De laatste stop zijn de pinguïns. De pinguïns lopen op een grappige manier. Emma houdt het meest van de pinguïns. 'Dit was de beste dag!' zegt Emma blij.
