1Comparatives with Più and Meno
Use più (more) or meno (less) + adjective + di for comparisons. Di becomes che before nouns, verbs, or prepositions.
Comparative Structure

2Irregular Comparatives
Some adjectives have irregular comparative forms: buono→migliore, cattivo→peggiore, grande→maggiore, piccolo→minore.

3Relative Superlative
The relative superlative uses article + più/meno + adjective + di (the most/least in a group).

Lei è la più intelligente della classe.
She is the smartest in the class.

irregular superlative
4Absolute Superlative
The absolute superlative (-issimo) means "very/extremely." It agrees in gender and number with the noun.
