1Comparatives of Inequality
Use más...que (more...than) and menos...que (less...than) to compare unequal things. The adjective goes between más/menos and que. Adjectives still agree with the noun they describe.

2Comparatives of Equality
Use tan...como (as...as) with adjectives/adverbs and tanto/a/os/as...como (as much/many...as) with nouns. Tanto agrees in gender and number with the noun it modifies.

3Irregular Comparatives
Some common adjectives have irregular comparative forms: bueno → mejor (better), malo → peor (worse), grande → mayor (older/greater), pequeño → menor (younger/lesser). These don't use más.

Este restaurante es mejor que el otro.

mayor = older (for people)
Es mi hermana menor.

4Superlatives
Form superlatives with el/la/los/las + más/menos + adjective. For irregular forms, use el/la mejor, el/la peor, etc. Add de to indicate the group being compared.
