Maria was looking for a new apartment in the city. She found an interesting advertisement online. The apartment had two bedrooms and a large balcony. Maria called the phone number in the advertisement. A man named Mr. Weber answered the phone. 'Hello, I am calling about the apartment,' Maria said. 'Ah yes, are you interested in viewing it?' asked Mr. Weber. 'Yes, I would like to see it as soon as possible,' Maria replied. They agreed to meet on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday, Maria arrived at the building at two o'clock. Mr. Weber was already waiting at the entrance. 'Good afternoon, you must be Maria,' he said with a smile. 'Yes, that is me. Nice to meet you,' Maria answered. They took the elevator to the third floor. Mr. Weber opened the door of apartment number twelve. 'Please, come in,' he said. Maria stepped inside and looked around. The living room was bright and spacious. 'The apartment has 75 square meters,' Mr. Weber explained. 'How much is the rent per month?' Maria asked. 'The rent is 850 euros, including heating,' he replied. 'That sounds reasonable,' Maria said. They walked into the kitchen together. The kitchen had new appliances and plenty of storage. 'Is the dishwasher included?' Maria asked. 'Yes, all the appliances stay with the apartment,' Mr. Weber confirmed. Next, they looked at the two bedrooms. The main bedroom had a large window facing south. 'I could use the second bedroom as my office,' Maria thought. 'Does the apartment get a lot of natural light?' she asked. 'Yes, especially in the morning and afternoon,' Mr. Weber said. They walked to the balcony and stepped outside. The view showed a quiet park with trees. 'This is lovely,' Maria said, impressed. 'Are pets allowed in the building?' Maria asked. 'Small pets like cats are fine, but no large dogs,' he answered. 'That is perfect because I have a cat,' Maria said happily. They returned inside to see the bathroom. The bathroom had a bathtub and a separate shower. 'The tiles were replaced last year,' Mr. Weber mentioned. 'When would the apartment be available?' Maria inquired. 'It will be free from the first of next month,' he said. 'That timing works well for me,' Maria said. 'Is there parking available?' she asked next. 'Yes, there is underground parking for an extra 50 euros per month,' Mr. Weber explained. 'I would need that as well,' Maria noted. 'What documents do I need to apply?' Maria asked. 'I need proof of income and a copy of your ID,' he replied. 'I can send those documents by email tomorrow,' Maria said. 'That would be great,' Mr. Weber responded. 'Is there a deposit required?' Maria wanted to know. 'Yes, the deposit is two months of rent,' he confirmed. 'I understand. That is normal,' Maria said. Maria felt very happy about the apartment. It was exactly what she was looking for. 'I would like to rent this apartment,' Maria said confidently. 'Wonderful! I am glad you like it,' Mr. Weber smiled. They shook hands to seal the agreement. Maria left the building with a big smile on her face. She had found her new home.
