A young boy lives in a small village. His name is Peter. Peter takes care of the sheep. Every day he goes to the hill with the sheep. The sheep eat grass all day. Peter is bored. He has an idea. 'I will play a joke,' he thinks. Peter runs to the village. 'Wolf! Wolf!' he shouts. The villagers come quickly. But there is no wolf. Peter laughs at them. The villagers are angry. The next day, Peter does it again. 'Wolf! Wolf!' he shouts. The villagers come again. But there is no wolf again. The villagers are very angry now. One week later, a real wolf comes. Peter sees the wolf near the sheep. 'Wolf! Wolf!' he shouts very loud. But the villagers do not come. 'He is lying again,' they say. Peter learns that no one believes a liar.
