Today is a special day for Leo. It is his first day at a new school. Leo wakes up early. He is a little nervous. His mother makes breakfast. 'You will make new friends,' she says. Leo puts on his new backpack. His father drives him to school. The school is big and beautiful. Leo walks to his classroom. The teacher welcomes him. 'Hello, Leo! Welcome to our class!' Leo sits at a desk near the window. A boy next to him smiles. 'Hi! I am Tom. What is your name?' 'I am Leo,' he answers. They talk about their favorite games. The first lesson is math. Leo likes numbers. At break time, Tom and Leo play together. They run in the playground. After school, his father picks him up. 'How was your day?' asks his father. 'It was great! I made a new friend!' Leo cannot wait for tomorrow.
