Comment puis-je t'aider?' demande-t-elle. 'Je ne comprends pas ce problème,' dit Tom. Il montre son livre à madame Dupont. 'Quel problème est-ce?' demande madame Dupont. 'Le numéro cinq,' répond Tom. Madame Dupont regarde le problème. 'C'est pour additionner des nombres,' dit-elle. 'Laisse-moi te l'expliquer.' Madame Dupont prend une feuille de papier. 'D'abord, nous avons 12 pommes,' écrit-elle. 'Ensuite, nous ajoutons 8 pommes de plus.' 'Donc, 12 plus 8 égale...?' demande-t-elle à Tom. Tom réfléchit un moment. '20!' dit-il joyeusement. 'C'est correct! Bien joué, Tom!' dit madame Dupont. Tom sourit. 'Merci de m'avoir aidé!' 'De rien,' dit madame Dupont. 'Demande toujours si tu ne comprends pas.' Tom retourne à son bureau. Maintenant, il peut faire les autres problèmes aussi. Il est content d'avoir demandé de l'aide.
