1Imperfekti (Simple Past)
Add -i- before personal endings. Stem vowel often changes or drops.
Imperfekti Formation

Examples
Ostin uuden auton.
I bought a new car.

2Negative Past
Negative past uses 'ei' + past participle (stem + -nut/-nyt).

3Perfekti (Present Perfect)
Use 'olla' (present) + past participle (-nut/-nyt, -neet).

'Olla' (to be) has irregular past forms.
