1A (To, At) and De (From, Of)
A indicates direction/destination or introduces indirect objects. De indicates origin, possession, or material. Important: a + el = al, de + el = del. These contractions are mandatory.

2En (In, On, At)
En is versatile, meaning 'in', 'on', or 'at' depending on context. It's used for location (where something is), transportation (by), and time periods. It doesn't contract with articles.

3Con (With) and Sin (Without)
Con means 'with' for accompaniment or instrument. Sin means 'without'. Con has special forms: conmigo (with me), contigo (with you informal). These are one-word forms.

4Para and Por
Para and por both can mean 'for' but have different uses. Para indicates purpose, destination, deadline, or recipient. Por indicates cause, exchange, duration, or means. This distinction is important.
