Marco needed a haircut badly. His hair had grown too long over the past two months. He decided to visit the barbershop on Saturday morning. The barbershop was on the main street in town. Marco walked in and saw three people waiting. He took a number and sat down on a chair. There were magazines on the table, so he picked one up. The barbershop had two barbers working that day. One was cutting a young boy's hair. The other was shaving an older man's beard. After fifteen minutes, it was Marco's turn. A barber named Tony called him to the chair. Tony put a cape around Marco's shoulders. He asked Marco what kind of haircut he wanted. Marco showed him a picture on his phone. It was a short style with the sides trimmed. Tony said he could do that easily. First, he sprayed Marco's hair with water. Then he started cutting with scissors. Tony was very careful and worked slowly. He asked Marco about his job and hobbies. They talked about football while Tony cut his hair. After the scissors, Tony used the electric clippers. The clippers made a buzzing sound. Tony trimmed the sides and back of Marco's head. He checked both sides to make sure they were even. Then he shaped the hairline at the back. Marco watched everything in the big mirror. Tony asked if he wanted his beard trimmed too. Marco said yes, just a little bit shorter. Tony used a smaller trimmer for the beard. He shaped the edges carefully around Marco's face. When he finished, Tony brushed the loose hair away. He showed Marco the back of his head with a small mirror. Marco was very happy with how it looked. Tony removed the cape and shook the hair off. Marco stood up and checked his hair one more time. The haircut cost fifteen euros. Marco paid and gave Tony a three-euro tip. Tony thanked him and invited him to come back soon. Marco left the barbershop feeling fresh and confident. He was ready for the week ahead.
