Anna woke up feeling tired and weak. She had been feeling this way for two weeks. Her husband said she should see a doctor. Anna agreed and made an appointment for that morning. The clinic was close to her house. She walked there in about ten minutes. The waiting room was full of people. Anna found a seat near the window. She waited for about twenty minutes. A nurse called her name. 'Anna? The doctor will see you now.' Anna stood up and followed the nurse. They went into a small room with a desk and a bed. The nurse checked her weight and blood pressure. 'Your blood pressure is a little high,' the nurse said. Anna was surprised to hear this. Doctor Miller came into the room a few minutes later. He was a tall man with gray hair and glasses. 'Good morning, Anna. How are you feeling today?' he asked. 'I feel very tired all the time,' Anna explained. 'I also have headaches almost every day.' The doctor listened carefully and wrote some notes. 'How many hours do you sleep each night?' he asked. 'About five or six hours,' Anna answered. 'That is not enough,' the doctor said. 'Adults need seven to nine hours of sleep.' 'What about your diet? What do you usually eat?' he asked. Anna thought for a moment. 'I often skip breakfast because I am busy.' 'I eat a lot of fast food for lunch and dinner.' The doctor nodded slowly. 'Do you exercise regularly?' he asked. 'Not really. I sit at my desk all day for work.' 'And how much water do you drink?' the doctor continued. 'Maybe two or three glasses a day,' Anna said. The doctor looked at her kindly. 'I think I understand the problem,' he said. 'You need to make some changes to your lifestyle.' He took out a piece of paper and wrote some advice. 'First, try to sleep at least seven hours every night.' 'Second, eat breakfast every morning.' 'Third, eat more vegetables and fruit instead of fast food.' 'Fourth, drink eight glasses of water every day.' 'Finally, try to exercise for thirty minutes three times a week.' Anna looked at the list and smiled. 'These changes seem simple,' she said. 'They are simple, but very important,' the doctor replied. 'Come back in one month and tell me how you feel.' Anna thanked the doctor and left the clinic. She decided to follow the doctor's advice starting that day. On the way home, she stopped at a shop and bought some fruit. She also bought a big bottle of water. That evening, she went for a short walk in the park. Her husband was happy to see her making healthy choices. After one month, Anna went back to see Doctor Miller. 'How are you feeling now?' he asked. 'I feel much better!' Anna said happily. 'I have more energy and my headaches are gone.' The nurse checked her blood pressure again. 'Your blood pressure is normal now,' she said. Doctor Miller smiled at the good news. 'This is wonderful,' he said. 'Keep following these healthy habits.' Anna thanked the doctor and promised to take care of herself. She learned that small changes can make a big difference.
