She sees a big building. The sign says 'Public Library'. Lisa goes inside. The library is quiet and clean. There are many books on the shelves. Lisa sees a desk near the entrance. A librarian sits at the desk. 'Hello,' Lisa says. 'I am new here.' 'I want to get a library card.' The librarian smiles. 'Welcome! That is easy,' she says. 'I just need your name and address.' Lisa gives her name and address. The librarian types on her computer. 'Here is your new library card,' she says. Lisa looks at the card. Her name is on it. 'Thank you!' Lisa says. 'How many books can I borrow?' 'You can borrow five books at a time,' the librarian says. 'You have three weeks to return them.' Lisa is happy. She walks to the shelves. She finds three interesting books. Lisa brings the books to the desk. The librarian scans the books. 'These books are due in three weeks,' she says. 'Have a nice day!'
