1Basic Rule: Add -e
Adjectives before nouns usually get -e: de grote man, het grote huis, een grote tafel.

2Exception: No -e
No -e with indefinite article (een) + het-word + singular. The adjective stays unchanged.

3Predicative Adjectives
Adjectives after the verb (predicative position) never get -e.
Attributive vs Predicative

4Adjectives with Materials & Professions
Some adjectives ending in -en (materials) and certain words never take -e.
No -e Adjectives
