Emma walks to the coffee shop every morning. She likes to drink coffee and read the news. Today, Emma sits at her favorite table near the window. A man comes into the coffee shop. He looks worried and checks his pockets. The man walks to the counter. 'Excuse me,' he says to the worker. 'Did anyone find a wallet here today?' The worker shakes her head. 'No, I am sorry,' she says. The man looks very sad now. Emma watches him from her table. She feels sorry for him. The man sits down at a table alone. Emma looks under her table. She sees something brown on the floor. It is a wallet! Emma picks up the wallet and opens it. Inside, she sees a photo of a family. She also sees an identity card with a name. The name is David Miller. Emma stands up and walks to the man. 'Excuse me, are you David Miller?' she asks. The man looks up with surprise. 'Yes, I am David,' he says. Emma smiles and shows him the wallet. 'I found this under my table,' she says. David takes the wallet with both hands. 'Thank you so much!' he says. 'This wallet has photos of my children.' 'I was so worried about losing them.' Emma feels happy that she could help. David asks Emma to sit with him. They talk and drink coffee together. David tells her about his family. Emma learns that he has two children. His wife works at a hospital. Before leaving, David gives Emma his phone number. 'Maybe we can have coffee again sometime,' he says. Emma smiles and says yes. That is how Emma makes a new friend. Sometimes good things happen when we help others.
