It is the first day at a new school. Anna walks into the classroom. She sees many new faces. A boy smiles at her. 'Hi! My name is Tom,' he says. 'What is your name?' 'Hello! I am Anna,' she replies. 'Nice to meet you, Anna!' 'Nice to meet you too, Tom!' 'Where are you from?' asks Tom. 'I am from Berlin,' says Anna. 'Oh, that is a big city!' says Tom. 'Yes, I like it there,' Anna says. 'How old are you?' asks Tom. 'I am twelve years old,' Anna answers. 'Me too! We are the same age,' says Tom. 'Do you have any hobbies?' asks Tom. 'Yes, I like to read books,' says Anna. 'I also like to draw pictures.' 'That is cool! I like football,' says Tom. The teacher comes into the room. 'Good morning, class!' he says. 'Good morning!' the students say together. 'We have a new student today,' says the teacher. 'Anna, please tell us about yourself.' Anna stands up and smiles. 'Hello everyone! My name is Anna.' 'I am twelve years old and I am from Berlin.' 'I like reading and drawing.' 'I am happy to be here!' The class claps their hands. 'Welcome to our class, Anna!' says the teacher. Anna sits down next to Tom. 'I think we will be good friends,' Tom whispers. Anna smiles and nods. She feels happy at her new school.
