It is December 25th. It is Christmas! Tom wakes up very early. He is six years old. He looks out the window. There is snow outside! Everything is white. Tom runs to the living room. The Christmas tree is beautiful. It has lights and decorations. There are many presents under the tree! Tom is very excited. 'Mom! Dad! Wake up!' he shouts. His parents come into the room. They are still sleepy. 'Merry Christmas, Tom!' they say. 'Can I open my presents now?' Tom asks. 'Yes, you can,' his mother says with a smile. Tom opens the first present. It is a red toy car! 'Thank you!' Tom says happily. He opens more presents. There is a book, a puzzle, and a warm sweater. Tom loves all his presents. Then the family has breakfast together. They eat pancakes with chocolate. After breakfast, Tom plays with his new toys. Later, grandma and grandpa come to visit. They bring more presents and cookies. It is the best day of the year!
