The next day, I went back to see him. I found him in his laboratory, preparing the time machine. 'I am going back,' he told me. 'I have to know what happened to Weena.' 'And I want to bring back real proof.' 'Wait for me here. I will return in half an hour.' He climbed onto the machine and smiled at me. Then he pushed the lever. The machine flickered and became transparent. Then it vanished completely, along with the Time Traveller. I waited for him that day. I waited the next day, and the day after that. But the Time Traveller never came back. Three years have passed now since that day. I still have the two strange flowers that he left behind. Scientists cannot identify what kind of flowers they are.
